Unstoppable Domains introduces domain name services to the Polygon network. New user addresses will end in .polygon.

St. Shah, vice president and head of development at Polygon Labs, said: “The domain name will provide Crypto identity to our community, so that users can log in to decentralized applications without revealing personal information, and can also be used without long addresses. Encrypted transactions.”

Representatives from Unstoppable Domains said their service is available for 750 apps, games, and metaverses.

The sale of the addresses will begin on March 16. The company will also auction premium domain names such as gamer.polygon.

In October 2022, Telegram Messenger launched a marketplace for selling account IDs. The service runs on top of the Telegram Open Network blockchain and accepts payments in the native TON token.

Recall that in early March 2023, Polygon launched an identification service called Polygon ID in the Web3 space. The plan will allow blockchain applications to verify user data without exposing personal information.
