Ulefone has just launched the latest Armor X series – Armor X6 Pro. This noticeably sturdy device measures 150 x 78.9 x 14.4 mm and weighs 227 grams. In keeping with the company’s pedigree, the body features extra resilience and is officially rated IP68/IP69K and MIL-STD-810G certified. The Armor X6 Pro can also be submerged for up to 30 minutes in 1.5 meters of water, water jets and a variety of fine dust and particles. Its polycarbonate shell is multi-layered, and every possible crack is filled with waterproof tape and gasket seals. The exterior of the device is also coated with a polymer coating for waterproofing. Ulefone says the Armor X6 Pro is ideal for industry workers, builders and rescuers of all kinds.
Ulefone is also proud that the Armor X6 Pro comes with the latest Android 12 operating system out of the box and all the advanced security and extra features it offers. The ROM itself is clean with no ads or unnecessary bloat and large, easy-to-use UI elements. The phone also has a programmable physical button on the side for added convenience and glove operation.
As for other hardware, the Armor X6 Pro has a 5.0-inch IPS LCD panel with an HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. At its core is the MediaTek Helio A22 4G chipset that supports dual SIM, 4GB RAM and 32GB storage, expandable via SD card. For local connectivity, the phone has Wi-Fi ac and Bluetooth 5.0, plus GPS with GLONASS, BEIDOU and Galileo, and NFC with Google Pay. Other sensors include accelerometers, proximity, light sensors, and electronic compasses. Also includes a 3.5mm jack and an FM radio.
There’s only a single 13MP, f/2.2, IMX214 camera on the back with dual LED flash that can record video up to 1080p. The same goes for the selfie camera, which is a 5MP, f/2.2, OmniVision OV5670 unit. Underwater photography is specifically advertised as a feature. The entire device is powered by a 4,000 mAh battery that charges 5W via a micro USB port.
