According to a report by China Central Broadcasting Network, on September 28, the unveiling ceremony of Shanghai’s “Model Speed Space” innovative ecological community and artificial intelligence large model industry ecological cluster was held in Xuhui District, Shanghai. “Model Speed Space” is the country’s first professional incubation and acceleration carrier for large-scale models. The Xuhui Riverside location where it is located is a key carrier of Shanghai’s artificial intelligence space layout and the intersection of the “herringbone” layout of the city’s artificial intelligence industry. Here, the “Model Speed Space” will play the “hub and spoke” function of the central city. At the unveiling ceremony, the Cyberspace Administration of Shanghai Municipal Committee, Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, and Shanghai Big Model Ecological Development Co., Ltd. represented the Big Model Corpus Data Alliance, Big Model Testing, Verification and Collaborative Innovation Center, and Shanghai Big Model Compliance. Functional platforms such as guidance service centers are stationed. Shanghai Telecom, Shanghai Mobile, Shanghai Unicom, Shanghai Instruments, Tencent Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, Huawei, SenseTime, and Volcano Engine jointly launched the Shanghai Smart Computing Power Acceleration Plan. Nearly 30 venture capital institutions jointly launched the Shanghai Large Model Investment and Financing Partner Plan, and several large model companies were among the first to settle in the project.
