OpenAI launches GPT-4, which is now available to ChatGPT Plus subscribers

MarsBit news, OpenAI announced the launch of the GPT-4 text generation AI system, which is OpenAI’s latest milestone in deep learning scale. GPT-4 is a large multimodal model (accepts image and text input, outputs text) that, while not as smart as humans in many real-world scenarios, demonstrates human-level performance on a variety of professional and academic benchmarks.

OpenAI said it has worked with several companies to incorporate GPT-4 into their products, including Duolingo, Stripe, and Khan Academy. The GPT-4 model will also be provided to subscribers of the paid version of ChatGPT Plus in the form of an API. Developers can sign up to build apps with it. Microsoft has since said that the new Bing search engine will run on the GPT-4 system.

OpenAI also said that GPT-4 participated in a variety of benchmark tests, including the Uniform Bar Exam, the LSAT, the SAT math section and the evidence reading and writing section of the US college entrance examination. , it scored higher than 88% of test takers.

OpenAI has opened the use of GPT-4 to ChatGPT Plus subscribers, enabling advanced reasoning, complex instructions, and more creativity. There is currently a usage cap of 100 messages per 4 hours.
