Elon Musk’s acquisition of Twitter has received a positive response from the cryptocurrency world. Users have welcomed the development very positively, as the Tesla CEO is open to cryptocurrencies. Furthermore, Binance’s $500 million acquisition of Musk’s Twitter deal was interpreted as a positive development in this sense.

CZ welcomes Musk’s acquisition of Twitter

Changpeng Zhao (CZ), CEO of Binance, the world’s largest exchange by trading volume, said he wanted to help Musk migrate his media platform to Web3 following Elon Musk’s acquisition of Twitter.

In an Oct. 31 interview with CNBC’s Squawk Box, CZ said there are many reasons to support the deal, including Binance’s $500 million investment in Musk’s acquisition of Twitter.

The Binance CEO emphasized in the interview that Twitter is a global platform for free speech with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, and his reasons for supporting the deal are. Also, he added, he uses Twitter very frequently.

In his speech, CZ used the following words on the topic:

“In terms of free speech, we want to make sure that cryptocurrency is on the table. There’s more tactical stuff, and we want to help bring Twitter to Web3.”
