Blocktrade raises €4.5 million in its BTEX token sale

Blocktrade, a gamified cryptocurrency asset and marketplace, has announced that it has raised €4.5 million through an exclusive sale of its BTEX token. Held from May 5-18, the auction was open to Blocktrade VIP members and attracted more than 1,400 participants from 42 countries.

BTEX tokens will be used to power the Blocktrade ecosystem, with holders receiving various benefits including reduced transaction fees and participation in airdrops.

Blocktrade CEO Christian Niedermueller said the successful token sale is evidence of growing demand for the platform’s gamified cryptocurrency services.

“We thank Blocktrade VIP members for their enthusiastic response and participation in this exclusive token sale,” added Niedermueller. “This enthusiasm shows the interest of today’s cryptocurrency users in an accessible and engaging Crypto asset trading platform. The launch of the BTEX token is the latest development in Blocktrade’s rapid growth. Founded in 2018, the platform has obtained VASP registrations in Estonia, Italy and Slovenia.
