Avalanche provides blockchain solutions for developers using Alibaba Cloud services
On December 2, the Avalanche cryptocurrency project team tweeted that Avalanche and China’s Alibaba are cooperating to provide blockchain developers with technical solutions within Alibaba’s current cloud platform. Alibaba Group Holding Limited (Alibaba) is a global Chinese technology company focused on e-commerce, retail, internet and software. Founded in 1999, the company offers a wide range of services, including Web-based sales support, electronic payment facilities, e-commerce search engines, and cloud-based computing services.
This partnership between the two companies will make it easier for programmers to build validators, as they can link directly to Alibaba Cloud’s plug-and-play architecture and product suite. At the time of writing, AVAX (the internal token of the Avalanche cryptocurrency project) is worth $13.52, up 3.95% from the previous 24 hours of trading.
Since Alibaba is entirely a Chinese company, this partnership should not be viewed as an endorsement of crypto assets. However, Alibaba’s products are available globally, and blockchain-related development projects can be easily implemented within the Alibaba Cloud platform.
A reliable source said last month that Chinese nationals are still engaged in cryptocurrency businesses. Most active Chinese cryptocurrency investors use VPNs and Defi platforms to exchange assets. Even though China implemented a nationwide cryptocurrency ban last year with very strict regulations, people continue to take advantage of the decentralized nature of cryptocurrency networks.
